CANCER COMRADES
"Cancer Comrades" was created to provide a place for Small Cell Cervical Cancer and all Cervical Cancer patients, survivors and loved ones to come together and find the strength and support they may be looking for. This web site is intended to be a place of networking, where people with the same type of cancer experience can find each other and strike up a friendship, share experiences and information. There is no more worse feeling than isolation when dealing with this monster. Finding a person to connect with may give you that added push to take one more step, get through one more scan or sit through one more treatment. For those of you who have watched someone fight and sat back feeling helpless; you will never forget and may need someone who understands as well. That is where "Cancer Comrades" comes in. Our hope is that you may find the person you are looking for.
We are in our infant stages with building this site and this service. We want to make the process simple and easy. No long forms to fill out or waiting periods. We simply offer like minded people a source to find others they can connect with in the Cervical Cancer arena. As time goes on, we may become more technologically sophisticated, but the process will remain the same. We do not take lightly finding legitimate people looking for support , so you can be assured we will do whatever we can to provide you protection.
The founders of this website, Melanie Cummings and Colleen Marlett, are both survivors of the rare and aggressive cancer called Small Cell of the Uterine Cervix or Small Cell Cervical Cancer. They are both striving to beat the odds. Finding each other and connecting has only made them stronger.
